The LavaTap compact thermostatic mixing valve is designed to regulate mixed water temperature by blending hot and cold water supplies at the point of use. Installed within a domestic hot water system, the valve provides controlled temperature delivery to outlets such as basins, baths and showers where stable mixed water temperature is required.

This thermostatic mixing valve is TMV2 approved and WRAS approved, making it suitable for domestic residential installations where water temperature control is important. It is designed to operate with stored hot water systems supplying hot water between 55 and 65 °C and cold water below 25 °C, supporting compatibility with common domestic water safety and hygiene practices.

Functioning as an anti-scald blending valve, the unit is designed to help reduce the risk of scalding by maintaining a controlled mixed outlet temperature during normal operation. The thermostatic mechanism responds to changes in supply pressure or temperature to support stable temperature control and improved user comfort.
