The complete filter for your LavaTap boiling tap: the filter housing with its head, and the cartridge inside. It is the same filter that comes in every LavaTap 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 tap kit, so this is the part to order if your housing is damaged or missing, or you are fitting a LavaTap tap and tank without one.

Will it fit? Made for LavaTap 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 boiling water taps with the LavaTap 2.4 litre tank. It fits on the cold feed, in this order: cold supply, filter, then the tap and tank.

In the box. Filter housing with head, and one filter cartridge. Tap and tank not included.

What it does. An anti-scale carbon filter, made to reduce calcium and magnesium scale, chlorine, odour and sediment in the water that reaches your tap and tank. Rated for 1.5 to 5 bar water pressure, with a rated flow of 1.8 L/min.

Connecting it. Each push-fit port has a blue locking tab. Remove the tab, push the hose fully in, then refit the tab. Have it fitted by a qualified installer, like the rest of your LavaTap system.

Change the cartridge every 6 months. Change it at least every 6 months, or after 2,000 litres, whichever comes first. Use a genuine filter and keep the receipts. The guarantee card in your LavaTap box shows where to get genuine replacement cartridges.

Why it matters for your guarantee. Your LavaTap tank is covered for 5 years on the heating element and 2 years on the sensor and control board, from installation, once you register within 30 days using the guarantee card in the box. That cover needs genuine parts throughout and a genuine filter changed every 6 months. Non-genuine filters, missed filter changes, and limescale or hard-water damage are not covered.
