This listing is for the complete filter unit only and includes the high-flow mounting head and initial filter cartridge. It must be installed inline between the cold mains supply and the boiling water tank and must not be installed after the tank or connected directly to the boiling water outlet. This system helps reduce limescale formation and sediment build-up that can lead to reduced heating efficiency, spitting at the tap spout, inconsistent temperature performance or premature element failure. Regular cartridge replacement is required to maintain performance. Reduced water flow from the boiling tap is an indication that the filter has reached capacity and requires replacement. Essential Warranty Notice: Warranty protection for the associated LavaTap boiling water tank is dependent on the use of compatible manufacturer-approved replacement cartridges.
