A good heavy torch head and easily adjusted for any angle. I got this as I am always playing with cars and motor bikes and there seems to be a constant need to head nuts and bolts to be able to undo them. The quality is there with this unit and so far I've had to need to complain. It is placed at the higher end of torches that do not come supplied with gas but hopefully this means it will outlast them as well. Everything works as it should and long may it do so.

Great price with super quick delivery
This appears to be a quality torch.Feels solid, works well, will hopefully last a long time.Completely baffled by the rotatable nozzle though .... you can just turn the whole bottle with any torch to achieve the same thing. Pointless feature as far as I'm concerned. Just encourages you to get you hand near the flame for no good reason.

A good quality construction great packaging with clear window show the torch head inside and a list of features on the box. Overall nicely presented and made, well priced easy to blow torch head.
A good solid torch this.There's plenty of weight to it, and everything looks and feels good quality with nothing to complain about at all.Have yet to try it out in anger (waiting for delivery of some more MAP gas), but as long it doesn't suffer from flame-outs* etc, I'll be happy.*I've had this on cheaper torches before (Iso-Butane/Propane types), where quite frankly it makes them unuseable.I don't expect it from this one in all honesty, and I'll certainly report back if it does.On a quality/value-for-money basis... 5-Stars (unless proved otherwise).
A simple blow torch that doesn't waste gas. I can take MAP or Propane (only). I got a little lost understanding what was meant by 'Turn the ignition button clockwise' , in the instructions so I resorted to common sense. Other than that, I was able to get the torch set up and lit with no problems. They really stress that the gas should not be throttled in order to reduce the flame. The labels say it'll cause it to overheat. I hope it's ok at the end of the gas bottle?It's well built and will take a drop without breaking (already tested...). Great for the BBQ at the moment but will be handy for DIY plumbing too.

Was hesitant to purchase due to all the bias free item reviews.But it's a good torch, solid quality ready to use and holds a nice flame for plumbing.

Salvus MAP-HTi is a high performance MAPP gas for blow torch work, supplied here as 4 x 400g cylinders. It is a clean, pure 99.5% propylene that reaches a maximum flame temperature of 1,985C - considerably hotter than the propane most blow torches run on - so copper joints reach soldering temperature faster and with less waiting about.
Because the gas is 99.5% pure it burns clean. It is non-corrosive, so it will not degrade the sealing rings in your torch, and its purity prevents contaminant build-up in the torch connection - a common cause of weak flame and blocked jets with cheaper gases. A higher working pressure also means it keeps performing in cold weather, on winter sites and in unheated lofts where propane falls off.
Gas flow is a measured 4g per minute, giving around 160 minutes of working duration from each 400g cylinder - over 10 hours across the 4 pack. The standard CGA600 threaded connection fits the Salvus Turbo Torch and most popular propane and MAPP style blow torch heads, so it drops straight into the kit most plumbers already carry.
Ideal for soldering and brazing copper pipe, heat treatment, and freeing seized nuts and bolts. Warning: extremely flammable gas. May displace oxygen and cause rapid suffocation. Contains gas under pressure which may explode if heated.
