The LavaTap HOT-TANK is a 2.4 litre electric boiling water tank designed for installation beneath kitchen cabinetry and connection to a compatible open vent boiling water tap system.

This listing is for the tank unit only. It includes the factory fitted 13 amp plug power lead. The product does not include tap, isolation valves, pressure reducing valves, flexible hoses or plumbing connectors. The unit features 1/2 inch BSP male inlet and outlet terminals and requires appropriate fittings for installation.

Operating on a 230V 50Hz electrical supply with a 1.5kW heating element, the tank provides up to 1.7 litres of immediate hot water draw off before automatically reheating to the selected temperature. The unit is rated IPX4 for indoor use and must be installed upright on a flat surface with adequate ventilation clearance around the housing.

The system is designed to operate within a supply pressure range of 1.5 to 5 bar. If incoming mains pressure exceeds 5 bar, a pressure reducing valve must be fitted in accordance with plumbing regulations.

This product uses an open vent design and must be fully primed with water before electrical power is connected. Failure to do so may damage the heating element.
