This pack provides both, making installation simple and complete. The thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) automatically adjusts water flow into the radiator depending on room temperature — so when a room warms up, the TRV restricts flow; if it cools down, the valve allows more hot water in. This delivers consistent, comfortable heating without manual adjustments. The Lockshield valve — often ignored, but essential — balances the heating system by regulating return flow. This ensures all radiators, even those far from the boiler, get a proper share of hot water so that every room heats evenly and efficiently. Because this twin pack is compatible with standard 15 mm UK pipework and most radiators and boilers, it’s ideal whether you’re upgrading older manual valves or installing a new radiator.
