The LavaTap compact thermostatic mixing valve is designed to control mixed water temperature by blending hot and cold water supplies at the point of use. It is suitable for installation in domestic, commercial and healthcare environments where controlled mixed water temperature is required at outlets such as basins, baths, showers and assisted bathing applications.
This thermostatic mixing valve is TMV2 and TMV3 approved and WRAS approved and has been tested in accordance with BS 7942:2000. These approvals confirm suitability for use in environments where temperature control is required in line with TMV scheme guidance. The valve is supplied with a factory preset mixed water temperature of approximately 41–43 °C and allows on-site temperature adjustment during commissioning to suit the intended application.
Maximum permitted mixed water temperatures vary depending on application. As defined in TMV guidance, typical maximum limits include basin, shower, bath and assisted bath installations. Final temperature settings must be verified during commissioning and should not exceed the applicable limits for the intended use.

Manufactured with a compact body for installation in confined spaces, the LavaTap thermostatic mixing valve is designed for 15 mm copper pipe systems. The product is supplied with union tails, compression nuts and olives to support installation.
