The LavaTap Bronze Hot Water Circulating Pump is a 3 speed wet rotor circulator for domestic hot water systems. Fitted on a secondary return loop, it keeps hot water moving between the cylinder and the outlets, so hot water reaches the taps faster and less cold water is run off while you wait. Its corrosion resistant bronze body suits domestic hot and cold water, and it can also circulate water on heating circuits.

It is built to the standard 130mm port-to-port length with G1-1/2 (1-1/2in BSP) body threads, the size used by most UK domestic circulating pumps, so in most homes it swaps into the existing pump valves without changing the pipework. Check that your old pump measures 130mm between its threads before ordering.

Please note: this is a circulating pump, not a booster or shower pump. It moves water round a closed loop and does not increase mains or shower pressure. The bearings are lubricated by the water, so the pump must be filled and bled before it is switched on and must never run dry.

In the box: the pump with its speed selector, two brass union tails with nuts, two sealing washers and the instructions. A supply cable, plug and isolating valves are not included. Wire to 230V 50Hz through the cable gland; electrical connection should be made by a competent person.
