The LavaTap outside tap kit is designed for creating a practical outdoor water point using compatible 20 mm MDPE pipe. The kit includes a 1/2 inch brass garden bib tap, a 20 mm x 1/2 inch MDPE wall plate elbow and a roll of PTFE tape, making it suitable for outdoor tap installations where the main pipework and additional fittings are already in place.

The brass bib tap features a traditional T handle and hose tail outlet, making it useful for everyday outdoor jobs such as garden watering, filling buckets, rinsing tools, cleaning patios and supplying water to sheds, workshops, allotments, garages, paddocks and other outdoor utility areas. The hose tail outlet can be used with a suitable hose setup or compatible hose fittings depending on your installation.

The included MDPE wall plate elbow is designed for use with compatible 20 mm MDPE pipe and provides a fixed connection point for the 1/2 inch tap. It can be installed on a suitable wall, post or outdoor mounting surface, helping create a tidy and practical outside water access point.

A roll of PTFE tape is included for the threaded tap connection. Before fitting, wrap the tap thread with sufficient PTFE tape so the tap tightens securely in the correct position with the hose outlet facing down. Check the alignment before final tightening and avoid over tightening.
