Product Description

  • Press Tool Required - Not Push Fit: This is an M Profile press fit fitting. You need a compatible press gun and the correct jaw for each end to compress both connections. You need two different jaw sizes for this fitting.
  • Steps Down Pipe Diameter - Press x Press: One end accepts the larger pipe, the other the smaller. Both are M Profile press connections. Use it to reduce from a larger main run to a smaller branch or supply line in a straight run.

  • WRAS, DVGW and BSI Approved: Certified for hot and cold water, vented and unvented heating systems, and chilled water. Rated to 16 bar from -24 deg.C to 110 deg.C. Compatible with BS EN 1057 R250 and R290 copper tube.

  • Two Jaw Sizes Required: The two ends of this fitting are different diameters - 28mm x 22mm. You need the correct M Profile jaw for each size. Confirm you have both before starting work.

  • EPDM O-Ring on Both Ends: Each port has its own EPDM sealing element. Deburr both pipe ends and insert each to the correct depth before pressing.

  • No Naked Flame - No Hot Works Permit: No solder, no flux, no open flame on either connection. Unpressed joints leak visibly at your pressure test before pipework is concealed. 25-year manufacturer guarantee.

The LavaPlumb Copper Pressfit Fitting Reducer steps down from a larger diameter copper pipe to a smaller one in a straight run. This fitting is 28mm x 22mm - the first figure is the larger inlet, the second is the smaller outlet. Both ends are M Profile press connections. You press each end separately with a compatible press gun. You need two different jaw sizes for this fitting - one for each diameter. Confirm you have both before starting. EPDM O-Ring on both ends: Deburr both pipe ends and insert each to the correct depth before pressing. A pipe end with a burr can cut the O-ring during insertion, causing a leak at the joint. Unpressed joints leak at your pressure test before any pipework is concealed. WRAS Approved. DVGW Approved. BSI Approved. 16 bar from -24 deg.C to 110 deg.C. BS EN 1057 R250 and R290 compatible. 25-year guarantee.
