Product Description

  • Press Tool Required - Not Push Fit: This is an M Profile press fit fitting. You need a compatible press gun and M22 jaw to compress the press end onto the copper tube. The male spigot end inserts directly into another press fitting.
  • Press x Male Spigot Connection: One end is a standard M Profile press socket. The other end is a male spigot that inserts directly into another M Profile press fitting - it does not need pressing itself. This saves one fitting on tight direction changes.

  • Changes Direction by 90 Degrees: Use it wherever you need a right-angle turn and want to reduce the number of fittings in the joint - for example, connecting directly into a tee or coupler without a separate pipe length between them.

  • WRAS, DVGW and BSI Approved: Certified for hot and cold water, vented and unvented heating systems, and chilled water. Rated to 16 bar from -24 deg.C to 110 deg.C. Compatible with BS EN 1057 R250 and R290 copper tube.

  • EPDM O-Ring on the Press End: The press socket end has a black EPDM sealing element. Deburr the pipe end and insert to depth before pressing. The male spigot end seals inside the receiving fitting.

  • No Naked Flame - No Hot Works Permit: No solder, no flux, no open flame. Unpressed joints leak visibly at your pressure test before pipework is concealed. 25-year manufacturer guarantee.

The LavaPlumb Copper Pressfit 90 Degree Street Elbow changes pipe direction by 90 degrees with a press socket on one end and a male spigot on the other. The male spigot end inserts directly into another M Profile press fitting - a tee, coupler, or reducer - without needing a separate pipe length between them. This reduces the total fitting count on tight direction changes and keeps the pipework compact. How it works: Insert the male spigot into the receiving press fitting. Connect your 22mm copper pipe to the press socket end. Press the socket with a compatible M22 jaw and press gun. The receiving fitting does the sealing on the spigot end - both connections are permanent once pressed. EPDM O-Ring on the press socket end: Deburr the pipe end and insert to depth before pressing. No solder, no flux, no open flame. Unpressed joints leak visibly at pressure test. WRAS Approved. DVGW Approved. BSI Approved. 16 bar from -24 deg.C to 110 deg.C. BS EN 1057 R250 and R290 compatible. 25-year guarantee.
