Product Description

  • Press Tool Required - Not Push Fit: This is an M Profile press fit fitting. You need a compatible press gun and M15 jaw to compress both sleeves onto the copper tube. It cannot be hand-assembled. Pack of 10 supplied.
  • Offsets Pipe Direction by 45 Degrees - Press x Press: Both ends are 15mm press connections. Use it where your pipe run needs a gentle direction change - less aggressive than a 90 degree elbow, giving a more gradual offset.

  • WRAS, DVGW and BSI Approved: Certified for hot and cold water, vented and unvented heating systems, and chilled water. Rated to 16 bar from -24 deg.C to 110 deg.C. Compatible with BS EN 1057 R250 and R290 copper tube.

  • EPDM O-Ring on Both Ends: Each port has its own black EPDM sealing element. Deburr both pipe ends and insert to the correct depth before pressing each connection.

  • No Naked Flame - No Hot Works Permit: No solder, no flux, no open flame on either connection. Offset pipework in occupied buildings and confined spaces without hot works permits.

  • Used in Pairs for Full Offsets: Two 45 degree elbows in opposition create a full parallel offset - useful for navigating obstacles without switching to a 90 degree route. 25-year manufacturer guarantee.

The LavaPlumb Copper Pressfit 45 Degree Elbow offsets the direction of a 15mm copper pipe run by 45 degrees. Both ends are press x press. Press each with a compatible M15 jaw and press gun. No solder, no flux, no open flame. When to choose 45 degrees over 90: A 45 degree elbow gives a less abrupt direction change, which can be preferable where pipework needs to clear an obstacle gradually, or where two 45 degree elbows used in opposing directions create a clean parallel offset to bypass a beam, joist, or other obstruction. EPDM O-Ring on both ends: Deburr the pipe end and insert to depth before pressing. A pipe end with a burr is the most common cause of O-ring damage and a leaking press fit joint. Unpressed joints leak visibly at your pressure test before any pipework is concealed. WRAS Approved. DVGW Approved. BSI Approved. 16 bar from -24 deg.C to 110 deg.C. BS EN 1057 R250 and R290 compatible. 25-year guarantee. This listing supplies a pack of 10 fittings.
