La-Co Regular Solder Flux, part LAC-22108, in a 475g trade tub. A professional grade flux paste for soldering copper, brass, tin, zinc and other common plumbing metals.
The flux cleans and prepares the metal surface, stripping oxide and stopping it reforming while the joint comes up to heat. That is what lets the solder wet the pipe properly and pull cleanly into the fitting, giving a bright, sound joint rather than a dry one. It works with both leaded and lead free solders.
The formula is non-aggressive and water soluble, so it brushes on easily and washes off afterwards. Flush pipework through after soldering to clear any residue, particularly on potable water systems. The 475g tub is a trade size, sized for daily use rather than a one-off repair.
