The H&V SI15HAV is a 15mm inline electrolytic scale reducer, fitted to the cold water supply to cut down limescale forming in your pipework and appliances.

It uses a zinc and copper alloy core to alter the structure of the hardness minerals in the water, so they are far less inclined to bake onto pipe walls and heating elements. There is no power supply, no chemicals and no cartridge to change: once it is in, it works away on its own.

The compact body fits on the cold feed to a combi boiler, water heater, dishwasher or washing machine, which is where scale does the most expensive damage. Manufactured from WRAS approved materials and suitable for potable water. Always follow good plumbing practice when fitting and check for correct operation on commissioning.
