The GFS HobLine is a complete gas hob installation kit built around a patented flexible pipe, designed to replace the rigid copper tails that make hob connections slow and awkward. GFS state it cuts installation time by up to 50% against traditional pipework, and it needs no specialist tooling - the 1 metre pipe is simply cut to length with a standard cutting tool.

One end carries a 1/2 inch BSP male taper thread that screws straight onto the hob inlet. The other is finished with the GFS Push and Seal mechanical fitting, a DN12 x 15mm compression adaptor that connects to standard 15mm copper supply pipe. The hose itself is manufactured to EN 15266, and the HobLine is CE marked and approved by the BSI.

In the box: the 1 metre yellow flexible pipe with its hob fitting, the 15mm compression adaptor, 20cm of yellow self-amalgamating tape for a clean high-integrity joint, and fitting instructions. Each kit is individually bagged. Suitable for 1st, 2nd and 3rd family gases, so it covers both natural gas and LPG.
