The ENGO E40 is a slim, surface-mounted ZigBee 3.0 programmable thermostat with a clear LCD display, for radiator, underfloor heating or cooling systems. Pick your version above: Battery or 230V Wired, in White or Black.

Which one do I need?

• Battery (E40-BAT): runs on 2 x AA alkaline batteries, so it fits where there is no power at the wall. Ideal for retrofits and rooms without an existing thermostat point. It works wirelessly with ENGO receivers, relays and control boxes, or with up to six ENGO electronic radiator heads in one room.
• 230V Wired (E40-230): powered from 230V AC with a backlit display. It can work on its own, wired to your heating through its volt-free relay, with no gateway needed. It also links wirelessly to ENGO receivers, relays and control boxes and drives up to six ENGO radiator heads in one room.

Both versions

• Programmable daily or weekly schedules, set on the thermostat or in the ENGO Smart app once a gateway is added. Schedules keep running if your internet drops.
• App control, remote scheduling and voice commands via Alexa or Google Assistant need the ENGO EGATE-PRO gateway, sold separately. Links to ENGO receivers, relays and control boxes (ENGO binding) are set up once through the gateway.
• Heating or cooling mode with TPI or hysteresis control.
• Key lock, PIN-protected settings, minimum and maximum setpoint limits, valve protection and over the air firmware updates.
