The ENGO E25 smart thermostat and radiator valve kit is a Zigbee wireless system for room-by-room radiator heating control within the ENGO smart heating ecosystem. The kit contains the E25 battery thermostat and one ENGO smart radiator valve. An ENGO gateway is NOT included.

The E25 thermostat measures the temperature in the room and sends heating setpoints wirelessly to the smart radiator valve, which opens and closes to regulate the radiator's heat output. The valve pairs with the thermostat directly, with no gateway needed. The thermostat has two radios, ZigBee 3.0 (2.4 GHz) and a separate 868 MHz radio, and one thermostat can control up to 6 ENGO smart radiator valves in the same room.

Without a gateway, the thermostat runs in day mode, with no schedule: set the temperature with its three buttons (Up, OK, Down). To add heating schedules, timers, smart automation and remote control, add an ENGO gateway such as the E-Gate Pro (sold separately) and use the ENGO Smart app. Schedules are set in the app, not on the thermostat. With the gateway and the ENGO Smart app you can also use voice control with Alexa or Google Home.

The thermostat runs on 2 x AA batteries and needs no supply cables. The system is designed for ENGO smart heating products and is not compatible with other brands or generic Zigbee hubs.
