The LavaTap - Elson EUV15 15 Litre Undersink Water Heater is a compact unvented electric water heater designed to provide stored hot water close to the point of use. With a 15 litre capacity, it is suitable for supplying 2 to 3 hand basins or 1 kitchen sink plus 1 hand basin, making it a practical choice for kitchens, utility rooms, commercial wash areas, offices, workshops, cloakrooms and outbuildings where a local hot water supply is required. The EUV15 has an electrical rating of 220–240 V, 50 Hz, 2 kW and offers an adjustable temperature range from 12°C to 72°C. The front temperature control knob allows the water temperature to be set during installation and adjusted as required, with setting 2 giving an approximate water temperature of 45°C. Designed for wall-mounted undersink installation, the heater should be positioned close to the outlet to help reduce heat loss in the pipework. The 15 litre model measures 445 mm high, 295 mm wide and 296 mm deep, with an empty weight of 7.5 kg and a full weight of 22.5 kg, so the supporting wall must be suitable for the filled weight of the unit. The heater uses 15 mm copper tube connections suitable for compression fittings. The cold inlet is marked blue and the hot outlet is marked red for easier identification during installation. The pack includes the water heater, pressure relief valve, electrolytic connectors, wall fixings, fitting instructions and warranty card. This is an unvented water heater and must be installed, commissioned and maintained by a competent person. The supplied pressure relief valve must be fitted, and the installation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions, water regulations and electrical requirements.
