The LavaTap Blow Torch Kit pairs a compact adjustable-flame gas torch with two 400g MAPP gas cylinders, so you can start work straight from the box and keep a spare cylinder ready for the next job. It is built for plumbers, heating engineers, mechanics and DIYers who solder copper pipe, braze fittings or need quick, controllable heat.

MAPP gas burns hotter than propane alone, so copper pipe reaches soldering temperature faster and joints are completed more quickly. A knurled control valve sets the flame anywhere from a fine pencil tip for detailed soldering to a strong burn for heating larger fittings, freeing seized nuts and bolts or thawing frozen pipes.

The torch screws directly onto CGA600 (1 inch US thread) MAPP and propane cylinders, the same thread as the cylinders supplied. Its slim, lightweight body reaches into tight spaces such as behind boilers, under sinks and along awkward pipe runs.
