Black Swan Power Crystals are a fast-acting drain pipe opener in crystal form, for clogged sinks, basins, showers, baths and floor drains, and for grease traps, septic systems and sewer lines. The crystals contain aluminium chips for a stronger and longer-lasting reaction, and work with hot or cold water.

How to use: read the whole label first. Remove any standing water. For sinks, basins, showers and baths, pour one cup slowly into the drain opening and follow straight away with one cup of cold water. If water boils out of the drain, add another cup of cold water. For floor drains, pour two cups into the drain and follow with half a gallon of cold water. After 15 minutes, pour cold water down the drain. If the drain is still clogged, repeat once; if it is still clogged after that, do not repeat, consult a plumber.

Clogged drains are usually caused by a build-up of grease, hair, soap scum or bath oils. Rather than wait for a blockage, use a small amount every week to keep drains running freely.
