Product Description

  • Press Tool Required - Not Push Fit: This is an M Profile press fit fitting. You need a compatible press gun and M22 jaw to compress both sleeves onto the copper tube. It cannot be hand-assembled.
  • Changes Pipe Direction by 90 Degrees - Press x Press: Both ends are 22mm press connections. Use it wherever your pipework needs to turn a right angle - around corners, through walls, or at a ceiling to wall transition.

  • WRAS, DVGW and BSI Approved: Certified for hot and cold water, vented and unvented heating systems, and chilled water. Rated to 16 bar from -24 deg.C to 110 deg.C. Compatible with BS EN 1057 R250 and R290 copper tube.

  • EPDM O-Ring on Both Ends: Each port has its own black EPDM sealing element. Deburr both pipe ends and insert to the correct depth before pressing each connection.

  • No Naked Flame - No Hot Works Permit: No solder, no flux, no open flame. Turn corners in occupied buildings, timber-framed structures, and tight spaces without requiring hot works permits.

  • Unpressed Joints Show at Pressure Test: The fitting design ensures any unpressed connection leaks visibly before pipework is concealed. 25-year manufacturer guarantee against manufacturing defects.

The LavaPlumb Copper Pressfit 90 Degree Elbow changes the direction of a 22mm copper pipe run by 90 degrees. Both ends are press x press connections. Press each one individually with a compatible M22 jaw and press gun. No solder, no flux, no open flame on either connection. Where you need it: Turning a corner at a wall, ceiling, or floor. Routing pipework around an obstacle. Any right-angle direction change in a copper pipe run. EPDM O-Ring on both ends: Deburr the pipe end and insert to the correct depth before pressing. A sharp burr on the pipe edge is the most common cause of O-ring damage and subsequent leaks at press fit connections. Unpressed joints leak visibly at your pressure test - you catch every missed connection before covering the pipework. WRAS Approved. DVGW Approved. BSI Approved. 16 bar from -24 deg.C to 110 deg.C. BS EN 1057 R250 and R290 compatible. 25-year manufacturer guarantee.
