• 3 Parts In One Box, Tap Not Included: 1 x 2.4L HOT-TANK with 13A plug lead, 1 x HOT-FILTER kit (mounting head plus first cartridge) and 1 x 3/8 to 1/2 BSP brass adaptor
• Replace A Failed Tank, Keep Your Tap: Swap a broken under-sink boiler on an open vent 3-in-1 boiling tap system, keeping the tap and hoses where they are still suitable
• Genuine LavaTap Filter, No Separate Filter To Buy: LavaTap says this tank should always run with an inline scale-inhibiting filter, as scale build-up can lead to premature element failure
• Less Limescale, Better Taste: Fitted inline on the cold supply with 8mm push fit, it inhibits scale and sediment, carbon cuts chlorine and odours; up to 6 months per cartridge, 4 in hard water
• Adaptor For 1/2 Inch Inlets: Solid brass bush (3/8 BSP female inside, 1/2 BSP male outside) for selected existing 1/2 inch female hoses; no washer, reuse your seal and check threads first
• 1.7L Instant Draw-Off: The 1.5kW 230V element gives up to 60 cups of near-boiling water an hour, 14 settings from 45C to 98C, digital display, 240mm W x 330mm H x 220mm D

Has the tank under your boiling water tap failed? This LavaTap pack puts the three parts in one box: the LavaTap HOT-TANK 2.4 litre tank, the LavaTap HOT-FILTER filter kit and a 3/8 to 1/2 BSP brass adaptor. It is for anyone replacing a failed tank on an open vent 3-in-1 boiling water tap system whose tap and hoses still suit.

The HOT-TANK is a compact black under-sink unit (240mm W x 330mm H x 220mm D) with 1.7 litres of immediate draw-off and up to 60 cups of near-boiling water an hour. The 1.5kW element runs on 230V 50Hz via a factory-fitted 13A plug lead. There are 14 temperature settings from 45C to 98C, internal thermal cut-outs and a digital display with error reporting. It is IPX4 splash rated and UKCA and CE approved.

The inlet and outlet are 3/8 inch BSP male. If your old tank had a larger 1/2 inch inlet, the brass bush adaptor (3/8 BSP female inside, 1/2 BSP male outside) connects the new tank to selected existing 1/2 inch female hoses. No washer or seal is supplied; check thread sizes first.

The HOT-FILTER fits between the cold mains and the tank with 8mm push fit, never after the tank, and is designed for LavaTap open vent systems. It reduces limescale on the element, and its carbon core cuts chlorine and odours. A cartridge lasts up to 6 months in average UK water; every 4 months is recommended in hard water areas.

Fit upright on a flat surface with 10-15cm clearance, prime with water before switching on, and fit a pressure-reducing valve above 5 bar. Install by a competent person.

In the box: 1 x LavaTap HOT-TANK 2.4L tank with 13A plug lead, 1 x LavaTap HOT-FILTER (mounting head and first cartridge), 1 x 3/8 BSP female to 1/2 BSP male brass adaptor. Tap, isolation valves, pressure-reducing valve and other connectors not included.

Why this pack: LavaTap advises always running the tank with an inline scale-inhibiting filter, as scale can lead to premature element failure. Here you get the tank, filter and adaptor in one box.
