This LavaTap bundle puts a 22mm x 25m coil of white PEX barrier pipe and 50 x 22mm pipe inserts in one pack. It is for plumbers, heating engineers and DIY installers running new 22mm hot and cold water or central heating pipework. Inserts should be used whenever barrier pipe goes into a pushfit fitting, so having them with the pipe means the job is not held up waiting for a second order.

The pipe is cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) with an oxygen barrier layer that reduces oxygen ingress in central heating circuits, lowering the risk of corrosion and helping boilers, pumps and radiators last longer. It is WRAS approved for drinking water and meets BS 7291-3:2010 and EN ISO 15875. The smooth bore keeps flow steady with minimal pressure loss, the multi-layer wall resists kinks and abrasion, and printed 1m markings along the coil make measuring and cutting quick and accurate.

Each insert supports the pipe from the inside, keeping the joint secure and stopping the pipe deforming under pressure. Cut the pipe squarely with a plastic pipe cutter, deburr if needed, push an insert fully into the pipe end, then push the pipe into the fitting. The pipe works with standard UK pushfit and compression fittings. For indoor hot and cold water and heating pipe runs.
