The Heatmiser neoFlo is a smart radiator thermostat, also called a smart TRV head, for the Heatmiser neo system. It replaces the head on your radiator valve and holds each room at the temperature you set, so you only heat the rooms you are using.

Paired with a neoHub Gen 3 (sold separately), every neoFlo appears in the Heatmiser neoApp next to your other neo thermostats. The app adds heating schedules, holiday mode, key lock and a temperature offset, and through the neoHub the neoFlo also works with Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit and IFTTT. App and voice control need a neoHub Gen 3. The neoFlo controls the radiator but does not switch the boiler on by itself, so to let radiator rooms call for heat, add an RF-Switch V2 (sold separately), which must be wired in by a qualified installer.

Without a hub the neoFlo still works on its own. Turn the dial to set 5 to 30 degrees C in 0.5 degree steps, programme up to 4 switching times a day on the head, and use the 30 minute boost for a quick warm up. Open window detection closes the valve for 30 minutes when the temperature falls 2 degrees within 2 minutes, frost protection opens it below 5 degrees C, and a monthly valve exercise helps prevent limescale build-up. The LED display can be rotated 180 degrees to suit the way the valve is fitted.

The neoFlo screws onto radiator valve bodies with an M30x1.5 thread, and an adapter for RA valves is included. On a compatible valve there is no need to drain the system. Other valve types need a separate adapter, so check yours first.
