Has the tank under your boiling water tap failed, and does your tap feed it with 6mm push fit tube? This LavaTap pack puts the two parts you need in one box: the LavaTap HOT-TANK 2.4 litre boiling water tank and a 6mm push fit to 3/8 inch BSP female adaptor.

The HOT-TANK is a compact black under sink unit (240mm W x 330mm H x 220mm D) with 1.7 litres of immediate draw-off. The 1.5kW element runs on 230V 50Hz through a factory-fitted 13A plug lead, and the digital display shows the water temperature. The inlet and outlet terminals are 3/8 inch BSP male.

The adaptor connects 6mm outside diameter plastic tube to those 3/8 BSP terminals. Cut the tube squarely, push it into the collet until it stops and fit the blue locking clip. The hex swivel nut has a black flat sealing washer already seated inside, so check the washer is in place and hand tighten the nut onto the terminal. Do not over tighten a plastic nut.

Fit the tank upright on a flat surface with space around it, prime it with water before switching on, and fit a pressure reducing valve if your supply is above 5 bar. Installation should be carried out by a competent person.

In the box: 1 x LavaTap HOT-TANK 2.4L tank with 13A plug lead, 1 x LavaTap 6mm push fit to 3/8 inch BSP female adaptor with locking clip and sealing washer. Tap, tube, filter, isolation valves and pressure reducing valve are not included.
