Need to connect a 6mm push fit tube to a boiling water tank with 3/8 inch threaded terminals? This LavaTap tank adaptor joins the two in one fitting: a 6mm push fit collet on one end and a 3/8 inch BSP female swivel nut on the other. It suits 3/8 BSP male tank terminals, such as those on the LavaTap HOT-TANK under sink boiling water tank, and is useful when you are replacing a tank, re-routing a line or replacing a lost or damaged connector.

The push fit end takes 6mm outside diameter plastic tube. Cut the tube squarely, push it firmly into the collet until it stops, then fit the blue locking clip behind the collet ring so it cannot be released by accident. To disconnect, remove the clip, press the collet ring in and pull the tube out.

The threaded end is a hex swivel nut with a black flat sealing washer already seated inside. Check the washer is in place, then hand tighten the nut onto the tank terminal so the washer makes the seal against the terminal. Do not over tighten a plastic nut.
